Responsible AI development requires that AI developers and providers are transparent about their AI systems throughout the development lifecycle. The Credo AI Governance Platform is the centralized repository for organizations to track and manage AI risk and compliance, and, as a Databricks Technology Partner, Credo AI makes it easier for organizations to bring all of their existing data and evidence into governance, as per businesswire.
“Together, Databricks and Credo AI are set to revolutionize how organizations approach AI governance, making it more efficient to meet emerging regulations and to generate crucial governance artifacts,” said Navrina Singh, Founder & CEO at Credo AI. “This partnership is not just a step forward for us but a giant leap for the industry in responsible AI development.”
This will enable organizations to expedite their compliance endeavors, particularly with regards to nascent regulations such as the EU AI Act. This legislation mandates that model providers and downstream developers undertake self-assessments of the risk associated with their AI systems, carry out conformity assessments, uphold auditable registries, and oversee performance, in addition to fulfilling transparency obligations predicated on the risk category of their models.
Models can be easily brought into governance and their metrics and metadata immediately converted into Model Cards and other necessary governance artifacts, such as AI Impact Assessments, thanks to Credo AI's interface with MLFlow. AI teams will find it much easier to generate such artifacts and documentation with this integration.
