Weather RADAR Market Soars Amid Climate Challenges and Tech Advancements

The weather RADAR market is experiencing a significant change as evolving climate trends and fast-paced technological advancements require more accurate and forecast-oriented atmospheric information. The worldwide weather RADAR market was assessed at US$ 158.43 million in 2024 and is expected to grow to US$ 880.86 million by 2033, with a CAGR of 18% throughout the forecast period from 2025 to 2033.

As of 2023, 87% of top meteorological organizations globally indicate that real-time RADAR capabilities for monitoring severe storms and flood threats are a priority. These growing demands have led 69% of aerospace manufacturers in the weather RADAR sector to increase R&D spending for enhanced RADAR sensor creation, showcasing a unified effort towards improving precision and resilience in extreme weather monitoring. Technological advancements, such as dual-polarization innovations, are present in 53% of newly constructed RADAR systems, highlighting the sector's commitment to detecting subtle details like the form and kind of precipitation.
